Journeyman

As a Journeyman at Daniel Robert Remodeling, you play a key role in turning project plans into finished spaces our clients love. This position is ideal for someone who has hands-on experience in the trades and is ready to take the next step, refining their skills while mentoring others. You’ll be part of a team that values quality, teamwork, and continuous growth, with a clear path to advancing into a Lead Installer role.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform skilled installation work across remodeling projects (bathrooms, kitchens, basements, and exteriors)
  • Follow project scopes, plans, manufacturer guidelines, and Daniel Robert Remodeling standards
  • Work closely with the Lead Installer to execute projects efficiently and accurately
  • Assist with jobsite setup, organization, and daily workflow
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional jobsite at all times
  • Document progress, photos, and updates in CompanyCam
  • Support adjustments in the field, including change orders and problem-solving as needed
  • Collaborate with team members to keep projects on schedule
  • Mentor and support Apprentices by demonstrating proper techniques and best practices
  • Take pride in delivering high-quality craftsmanship on every project

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in residential remodeling or a related trade
  • Strong understanding of installation techniques, tools, and materials
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions, plans, and specifications
  • A team player who works well under the direction of a Lead Installer
  • Commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt on the jobsite
  • Positive attitude and willingness to mentor less experienced team members
  • Reliable, dependable, and motivated to grow within the company
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
