HR Manager

Daniel Robert Remodeling is seeking an experienced and people-focused HR Manager to support our growing team in South Jersey. This role will lead full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, payroll and benefits coordination, and day-to-day employee support, while ensuring compliance with labor laws and maintaining accurate HR systems. You’ll partner closely with leadership to strengthen company culture, support performance management, and implement training and development initiatives that help our team grow. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and passionate about creating a positive, high-performing workplace where employees feel supported and empowered.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting (job postings, interviews, hiring, onboarding)
  • Manage employee onboarding, paperwork, and benefits enrollment
  • Oversee payroll, compensation, and benefits administration
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, employee records, and workplace safety (OSHA)
  • Support employee relations, including conflict resolution and performance management
  • Help develop training programs, career growth paths, and leadership development
  • Maintain and update company policies, handbook, and HR systems (HRIS)
  • Track key HR metrics like hiring, retention, and performance trends
  • Partner with leadership on workforce planning and hiring needs

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–7+ years of HR or People Operations experience
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment law
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and people-focused
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in construction or small business is a plus
  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, but not required. Relevant experience and a strong understanding of HR best practices will also be considered.
